The Amhara Association of Oregon (AAO) was established in 2018 to support and mobilize the Amhara community in the sate of Oregon, USA. The Amhara People are indigenous to Ethiopia, and they speak the Amharic language – the official language of Ethiopia. Amhara Region is rich with traditions, natural resources, and tourist attraction sites.
